The DualSense D from BBC Bircher Smart Access is a sophisticated sensor that has been specially developed for the activation and safety of automatic sliding doors. This sensor fulfils the requirements of the EN 16005 standard and is therefore also suitable for emergency exits.

- Two-in-one technology: the DualSense D combines a radar motion sensor module for door opening and an active infrared presence detector module (AIR) to protect people in the area of door movement.
- Adaptability: The radar modules can be fully customised to the respective environment to avoid interference. The settings for field dimensions, field alignment, direction detection and filtering can be easily adjusted.
- Energy efficiency: The ability to ignore passing objects prevents unwanted door openings, which reduces the building's energy consumption.
- Easy installation: The intuitive operating concept with user-friendly menu navigation and a large display enables quick and easy installation.
- Versatility: The AIR modules provide protection at the main closing edges of the door and can be customised depending on the installation height and floor covering. Specific requirements can be met by adjusting the sensitivity and teach-in time.
- Robust design: The sensor is available in three different colours (black, white, silver) and is made of durable ABS/PA housing material. With a protection rating of IP54, it is ideally suited for use in various environments.
The DualSense D offers a reliable and user-friendly solution for controlling and securing automatic sliding doors and is ideal for use in escape routes and emergency exits.
