The set consists of two sensors (left and right) for mounting on both sides of the door leaf. SolidSense offers complete protection of the entire door leaf, including the main and secondary closing edges, and reliably minimises the risk of crushing, shearing and impact injuries. The contactless time-of-flight technology used for detection ensures millimetre-precise detection and reliable operation. As a virtual loop sensor, it replaces traditional induction loops and enables contactless, above-ground installation without structural alterations. The 79 GHz FMCW radar technology used enables precise detection of vehicles and reliable differentiation between vehicles, pedestrians and static objects. The sensor can be used as a Type D device in accordance with EN 12453. The sensor operates independently of lighting conditions and delivers stable detection results even in rain, snow, fog or dust.
