The LZR generates laser beams in 4 detection planes to monitor both the closing plane of the door and the area in front it. BEA designed the LZR I110 for industrial environments and can also ensure larger industrial doors are secured thanks to its detection field of up to 5.0m x 5.0m. Together with the BEA LZR laser scanner protective cover, the set is ideally suited for first installations or for retrofitting on existing barrier systems. The protective cover is made of a 2.5mm-thick Aluminium sheet and is used protect the sensor and to make the installation inconspicuous. Thanks to its pure Aluminum powder coating, similar to , the protective cover can fit in with any installation environment. Other RAL colours are also available upon request. The protective cover can be mounted either on the appropriate mounting holes on masonry, barrier housing, etc... or with the help of a mounting bracket, sold separately. The 2-beam photo eye is guided in front of the lower edge of the door by the supplied mechanism and if a light beam is interrupted by an obstacle, the door is stopped and reversed. The ‘LE’ system (grey connection cable with yellow/blue system plug) replaces the old VL2 systems without ‘LE’ (black connection cable with transparent system plug). Note: Identification sensor type ‘LE:’ grey connection cable, production period 01.03.2017 - LE transmitter & receiver: blue system plug The sensor type ‘LE’ with blue system plug is not compatible with transmitters or receivers of the older sensor type without ‘LE’ with transparent system plug.
